Overview
This rule differentiates healing by environment quality, rewarding withdrawal to civilization while preserving limited field recovery.
Procedure
- In safe location with reasonable amenities, heal 25% of full hp per full day of rest.
- In unsafe locations (dungeon or wilderness), one night's sleep heals 1d3 hp.
- Apply normal limits for interrupted rest and ongoing threat.
Design Impact
- Encourages town turns and logistics loops.
- Keeps dangerous zones dangerous by slowing sustained recovery.
