Accelerated Natural Healing by Safety Tier

Overview

This rule differentiates healing by environment quality, rewarding withdrawal to civilization while preserving limited field recovery.

Procedure

  1. In safe location with reasonable amenities, heal 25% of full hp per full day of rest.
  2. In unsafe locations (dungeon or wilderness), one night's sleep heals 1d3 hp.
  3. Apply normal limits for interrupted rest and ongoing threat.

Design Impact

  • Encourages town turns and logistics loops.
  • Keeps dangerous zones dangerous by slowing sustained recovery.
